All of us at Heartspace are missing our regular get togethers at Bracklesham Barn. We hope that you are keeping safe and well, and have kept your spirits up during the lockdown period.
We are pleased to see that lockdown now seems to be easing. We are keeping in close contact with Bracklesham Barn to see when we might be able to re-start our regular sessions there. At the moment, we hope we might be back to “normal” in September – we will be in touch again to let you know when we have more news.
If you would like a chat to keep you cheerful until we meet again, whether that is with Katrina or Antonia (our volunteer who many of you may have met at sessions earlier this year), or with another Heartspace member, please let us know by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by messaging our Facebook page, and we will put you in touch with each other.
To get ready for Heartspace’s return, over the coming weeks we would like to encourage you to take up your pens and brushes once again and become creative – if you haven’t done so already! There is no obligation to join in, but it would be great if you could create some art, craft or creative writing work to a theme and if you would like to send us photographs of your creations that we can then share them on our Facebook page and create a gallery on our website for fellow members to admire.
For your first challenge, we thought you might like to create works with the theme of Friendship and Hope. These may be pebble paintings using acrylic paints, or you may prefer to work with watercolours, pastel crayon, or produce craft work or creative writing. We look forward to seeing your work, and we will set another challenge in two weeks’ time.
